 We who are blessed to live in Washington are extremely proud of our state. Our citizens have many talents and there is no shortage of bright and creative minds among the people who live here. Some of the most advanced technologies used around the world, from aerospace to software, are developed in the State of Washington. All of this makes Washington a great place both to visit and to live. 


Among our state’s hallmarks is that we are a leader in establishing business trades and cultural ties with Pacific Rim countries, including China, inspiration of tonight’s group of the Divine Performing Arts.



 I want to extend my very best wishes to Divine Performing Arts for a successful debut performance in Seattle. I also offer my congratulations to New Tang Dynasty Television, an organization that has been instrumental in presenting tonight’s event. May all of your gifts of music and dance add another colorful fabric to our vibrant tapestry of the performing arts in this city and in our great state.
